Teach NRP For NeoHERO™

Position Summary

We are seeking Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Instructors to join our growing team. Instructors will teach engaging, evidence-based, hands-on NRP courses for first responders, ensuring that participants gain the skills and confidence needed to provide high-quality neonatal resuscitation in out-of-hospital settings. We have multiple compensation options and you are able to choose if you would like to join us as compensated member of our team or as a volunteer of our organization.

Responsibilities

 Deliver NRP provider and renewal courses according to AAP guidelines.

 Provide hands-on instruction in airway management, ventilation, chest compressions, and advanced resuscitation techniques and transport practice recommendations.

 Adapt teaching methods for first responders who face different challenges when resuscitating and transporting newborns in out-of-hospital settings.

 Maintain accurate class records and submit documentation in compliance with AAP standards and NeoHERO Foundation™ policies.

 Represent the NeoHERO Foundation™ professionally and support our mission to improve neonatal outcomes.

Qualifications

 Current NRP Instructor status with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) or willingness to train and obtain status.

 Good standing status with unencumbered license from accrediting board for licensing.

 Excellent communication and teaching skills, with ability to engage with both small and large groups.

 Willingness to travel for classes and training.

Preferred Skills

 Familiarity with neonatal simulation mannequins and equipment.

 Commitment to community health, education, and advocacy.
