Charleston Fire Department

November 3, 2025, will forever mark the most important day in the history of the NeoHERO Foundation®! We are beyond proud and absolutely thrilled to have shared today with our incredible friends at the Charleston Fire Department (CFD), who were the first team of paramedics to officially join us in our mission for change.
This day signifies a massive step forward: bringing specialized neonatal resuscitation training and equipment to the crucial prehospital transport setting. The results from our pre and post assessments are truly eye-opening. They demonstrate not only that perspectives were changed for the better, but also that our teaching was effective and deeply appreciated. The specialized equipment is valued, and most importantly, it has provided the CFD team with newfound confidence and support when responding to these critical calls.
We thank you dearly, CFD. Thank you for your commitment to excellence and for making history with us today. Together, we are building a safer future for our most fragile patients.
