NeoHERO’s commitment to you:
Deliver NRP provider and renewal courses according to AAP guidelines.
Instructors will teach engaging, evidence-based, hands-on NRP courses for first responders, ensuring that participants gain the skills and confidence needed to provide high-quality neonatal resuscitation in out-of-hospital settings.
We provide hands-on instruction in airway management, ventilation, chest compressions, and advanced resuscitation techniques and transport practice recommendations.
Our program adapts teaching methods for first responders who face different challenges when resuscitating and transporting newborns in out-of-hospital settings.
Our instructors maintain accurate class records and submit documentation in compliance with AAP standards and NeoHERO Foundation™ policies.
Delivery of e-card within 48 hours of course completion.
We bring the training directly to your department, utilizing your existing classroom facilities. We provide all necessary simulation equipment and learning materials to ensure a comprehensive, hands-on training experience.
Groups for simulation stations limited to 6 students to align with AHA guidelines for instructor to student ratios. This ensures NeoHERO Foundation™ provides the highest quality of hands-on training for the first responders we are tasked to teach.
Every student must complete the online portion of the NRP curriculum before attending the in-person training session. Online Learning Deadline: The online learning must be completed 48 hours prior to in-person simulation training.
Time Commitment: Students should allow approximately 4-6 hours to complete the online content, which includes an assessment test. Students may complete this over multiple self-paced independent learning sessions.
Be advised: At the end of the online learning session, there is a survey that must be completed; otherwise, the NRP Learning Platform does not recognize the online portion as being finished. A completion certificate for the online portion will be available when all parts are finished. NRP Provider cards cannot be issued without this being completed.
Class Day: Class day is a focused four-hour, high-fidelity training session where students will put their online learning into practice to perfect their skills. Students will work in groups of six, rotating through intensive simulations and skills stations.
