Specialized Training & Certification

We provide the hands-on training and certification through the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) serves as the established standard of care for newborn resuscitation and is jointly sponsored by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the American Heart Association (AHA). NRP certification requires renewal every other year to ensure skills remain current.

NRP is the internationally recognized "gold standard" for neonatal resuscitation, equipping first responders with the most current, evidence-based skills required to save a newborn's life in the critical first minutes.

Equipment Provision

We provide the recommended thermoregulation kits and resuscitation equipment that are neonatal-specific and appropriately sized.

NeoHERO™ supplies the crucial, specialized neonatal equipment that local governments often fail to provide, ensuring trainees can apply their NRP skills effectively with the right tools to prevent harm and improve outcomes.

Data-Driven Improvement

NeoHERO™ will track progress by collaborating with participating departments through several phases to systematically evaluate their impact.

These records and data collected over time will allow NeoHERO™ to conduct systematic quality reviews, better understand further areas of need, and continuously refine the program to maximize its life-saving impact.
